Intro to Basketball
HSS Hoopers gives young athletes an exciting first experience with basketball through age-appropriate instruction, skill-building activities, and fun games.

Participants will learn how to dribble, pass, catch, shoot, defend, and move safely around the court. Modified activities and age-appropriate equipment help children experience early success while developing coordination, confidence, teamwork, and an understanding of the game.

Who It Is For
HSS Hoopers is open to boys and girls ages 5–6. It is designed for first-time players and young athletes who want to strengthen their basketball fundamentals before joining an organized league.
