HENDERSON, Nev. (Sept. 28, 2026) – The elite high school basketball world will train its eyes on Henderson Sport & Social, October 2-6, 2026, as the newly-opened community sports center welcomes The Border League as the first event hosted at its new state-of-the-art facility. The basketball showcase features top high school players and teams and will be televised on ESPN, NBA TV and Baller TV platforms, marking a major milestone for the newly opened 180,000-square-foot indoor sports and entertainment destination. The seventh annual high school basketball event will bring approximately 300 boys and girls teams from 27 states and four countries to Henderson.
Taking place in Henderson and Rock Hill, South Carolina, The Border League has established itself as one of the premier high school basketball events in the country, providing a platform for top high school athletes to compete in front of college coaches, professional scouts and national audiences. More than 8,000 players, fans and coaches are expected to attend the 2026 event at both sites, with more than 250 college coaches and 80 NBA scouts anticipated to be in attendance.
“We are super excited to have Henderson Sport and Social as the host site for The Border League 2026,” said Jeff Kaufman, Coronado (Henderson, NV) High School men’s varsity basketball head coach. “Henderson is our hometown and it is amazing to be able to bring the biggest high school event of the year to this fantastic new facility.”
A private-public partnership between the City of Henderson and KemperSports, Henderson Sport & Social is the perfect setting for such a national showcase, with its state-of-the-art facilities and destination access for schools and teams from across the nation. The facility is designed to serve athletes and sports enthusiasts of all ages, and seeks to become the go-to destination for marquee sports and recreational events.
The Border League in 2026 will be seen nationally, with 12 games featured across ESPN platforms, 12 games on NBA TV and 300 games streamed live via BallerTV, giving fans across the country the opportunity to see what promises to be a sneak peek into tomorrow’s superstars in men’s and women’s college and professional basketball.
